TREKKING IN MOOREA
After a good night, an early breakfast was waiting for us.
Today, some delights: trekking in the Opunohu valley and the ascent of the Three Coconut trees pass.
The atmosphere is calm at the edge of the river and enchanting in the marvellous forest of Mape. There is a beautiful view on the inland of Moorea and on the Mount Rotui. We have been walking for about 4 hours.
We are going back to the hotel very tired and happy of the day.
Tonight we will go to see a show of Tahitian dances at the Tiki Village of Moorea: this is the place where takes place the biggest Polynesian shows, with its Tahitian parties, its shows animated by 60 artists, musicians, dancers and in particular the famous dancers of fire!
Below are some pictures of the show:
I was very disappointed by this show which was far too touristy.
But I needed to try it... Ok, now good night and see you tomorrow!
