DAY IN RANGIROA

I woke up at 05:45am. Shower, clothing and breakfast. I almost didn’t sleep because of the mosquitoes. Some were stuck in my mosquito net and bit me all night long!!!

In brief, I will be more careful tonight and I will look carefully at and inside my mosquito net!

This morning, I booked a taxi to go to a drawing lesson in a junior high school in Rangiroa, where was taught also the engraving on mother-of-pearls.

The taxi arrived on time, at 07:30am to take me to the taxiboat at the pass of Tiputa. The junior high school was on the other side of the pass, in the village of Tiputa (far nicer than the village of Avatoru, to my opinion).

Before arriving at the junior high school, on the way, I had time to take some pictures of a beautiful beach.

The drawing lesson about perspective went very well. The students and the teacher were very nice. At the end of the lesson, I went for a walk and had lunch at the restaurant at the pass of Tiputa. Then, I took a taxi to come back to the Pension around 3:00pm.

Then I took a rest and went to the beach until dinner time...

The menu of the dinner tonight was: raw red tuna, potatoes, rice, leg of lamb and for dessert vanilla ice- cream. I think I had gained at least 3 kilos since I arrived in Polynesia because I have been eating a lot!!!

Then I went to bed at 9:00pm.
