EXPLORATION OF RANGIROA

I woke up at 06:00am. Shower, clothing and breakfast.

Norbert told me that I was the only one interested for the excursion “Reef Island”. So the excursion was canceled today because it needed a minimum of 4 persons per excursion. Tomorrow I hope to be able to do the excursion “Blue Lagoon” because there are already 3 persons interested. So, I will keep my fingers crossed!

So, today I had a free day. I decided to go to the village of Avatoru to take pictures.

On my way, I met Scott, the American guest at the Pension, who was riding a bike with the children of Norbert. I asked him if he would like to have lunch with me. He accepted with pleasure and we decided to meet each other at the restaurant of the marina at 12:00pm.

The lunch was very nice. I chose once again the raw fish marinated in coconut milk! At the end of the lunch, the young couple who was with me at the Pension joined us to have lunch.

Then, Scott and I came back to the Pension by walk. I went to my bungalow to have a rest and then I went for a short walk around the Pension.

When I returned to the Pension, Norbert asked me if I would like to tour the island in his car with two brand-new guests who had just arrived at the Pension. I accepted with pleasure! We came back at 6:00pm. The dinner was scheduled at 8:00pm. Except Scott and I, there were 4 brand-new guests at the Pension. The menu of the dinner tonight was: raw vegetables, shrimps curry and pasta and for dessert a chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream... It was delicious, as usually!!!

I went to bed at 10:00pm.
