FREE DAY IN HIVA OA

Today it’s a free day! I decided to go for a walk in the morning with Françoise and take some pictures of the village...

Then, I asked the host of the Pension to call the tattooist of the island because I would like to have the tattoo of a ray on the side of my right wrist... The tattooist told Gaby that he will be at my bungalow between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, but he never came and Françoise and I had been waiting for him for hours during the afternoon!!! It’s like that in Polynesia, you have to become accustomed to it!!!

So, walking in the morning and resting afterwards...

Then resting in the afternoon and waiting for the tattooist!

Waiting and waiting and waiting...

The rest of the group wanted to go to the small opposite island to visit and see some craftsmen who lived there. The crossing by boat was quite long so this is the reason why I decided to stay in Hiva Oa with Françoise and spent the day with her...

When they came back, we had dinner and went to bed!!!

Tomorrow departure for Nuku Hiva...
