THE TIPUTA PASS IN RANGIROA

I woke up at 06:15am. Shower, clothing and breakfast.

During breakfast, Norbert asked me if I would like to stay 2 extra nights in Rangiroa at the Pension because my today flight to go from Rangiroa to Tikehau was not direct and very long (1h40mn flight time instead of 20mn usually, because there was a stop in Papeete). I was thinking that it was an excellent idea, because I love this Pension and that staying only 3 nights in Tikehau was enough because Tikehau was a very very small atoll and there was nothing much to do compared to Rangiroa. So, Norbert called Air Tahiti so that they will modify my flight ticket for a departure from Rangiroa next Wednesday. He called also the Pension Colette in Tikehau to tell them I will go there only from Wednesday instead of today. So, I was very happy because I will stay 2 extra nights in Rangiroa... It was such a cool idea!!!

I asked Norbert whether I could check my emails. He accepted and I was connected almost an hour to check them all.

Then, Norbert asked me whether I would be interested to go with Scott and his children to the Tiputa Pass to see the dolphins, because it was the time when the current was coming in. It was such a wonderful idea. I went to ask Scott about it. He accepted with pleasure and we took the car to go to the Pass. We parked close to the Pass and we were able to see the dolphins surfing and playing with the waves... It was a one-of-a-kind and a magical moment!

Then, we went back to the Pension.

Scott asked me if I would like to have lunch with him at the restaurant of the marina. In the meantime, Norbert, Thildy, the mother of Thildy, Kevin, Brian and David asked both of us if we would like to go with them to have lunch. It was once again a very nice moment. Norbert paid for Scott and I and I was very touched by it. It was amazing to me that Norbert was a so generous, nice and altruistic man. He considered (and his wife also) their guests as their friends. It was so amazing and rare nowadays, that I would like to speak about it on this blog...

We came back to the Pension at 2:00pm.

I took a rest until 3:00pm and then I went with the family to drive Scott to the airport. He will fly to the Marquesas today.

Then, we went back to the Pension at 4:00pm. I took another rest and I took some pictures until dinner time.

The menu of the dinner tonight was: raw swordfish, grilled mahi-mahi with vanilla sauce, rice and for dessert vanilla ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce... Yummy!

I went to bed at 9:45pm.
